Everyone has a top ten must-haves list, so I thought I'd share mine. Some things are classic and have been around for the longest time lasting season after season, and others are just trends of the moment that are really making a splash.

In fashion news 

I wanted to talk about one of my biggest interests right now: JEWLERY! Summer is a great time to experiment with accessories. Since there is no longer a need for layers, jewelry often is used to spice up a simple dress or tone down a colorful skirt. The one thing to be careful of is over accessorizing. These are some of my favorite jewelry trends of Summer 2012.

Recently it seems a lot of jewelry has a pattern. When paired with simple colors this can add some fun to your outfit.

Everyone needs some color, especially during summer. Bright bold colors can make you stand out while simple colors can be used with a variety of looks.

Along with gemstones silver and gold tend to be the most classic jewelry choices. Mixing and matching different styles and adding jewelry with working can help convey your individual style.

Multi-layer Necklace

This trend has been around for awhile now, but with the revival of beads and the the bold colors found in summer jewelry the multi-layer necklace has really come alive this season.

SPOTTED: Summer Trends To Look Out For

The baggy top is a great summer trend, and it looks better when we can tell you have pants underneath.

I love this semi-hipster look. It's fun and summery with just enough sophistication.

Work clothing with a twist. Something for every environment.

 Neon vs Neutral- both color trends have their pros and cons. 

Neon colors are bold and can bring a lot of attention. When paired with simpler pieced or complementary colors this trends work, but its very easy to over do the colors and end up looking like a neon light. 

Neutral colors are more dilute and casual. With colorful accessories and the right accents this can look heavenly. Choosing the right shade is important because neutrals can easily wash you out.
